The Process
Batch Oxidation System
Our proprietary Batch Gasification System (BOS) utilizes a gasification
process which thermally converts waste products into a burnable gas.
This two-stage process provides low emissions and requires very low
labor. The unique modular BOS design allows for flexibility, easy
installation, and ease of operation. With capacities from 1 to 200
tons per day of waste processing, the BOS is ideal for small
municipalities and industries. Heat recovery equipment converts
the hot effluent gas to steam, hot water, and/or electricity.
Waste-to-Energy System
For larger waste disposal needs, EnerWaste offers the continuous
mass burn Waste-to-Energy (WTE) system. The WTE systems are large
vertical combustion chamber incinerators with heat recovery to
produce steam and electricity. They are pre-fabricated at our
production facilities from proprietary refractory panels and
assembled on-site. WTE systems can be designed with capacities
of up to 400 tons per day of municipal solid waste or industrial
or bio-waste with 2 to 10 MW of energy recovery. These systems
can be equipped with scrubber systems to meet any environmental
emission standard.
Industrial Incinerator
For disposing of biomass, such as wood waste, bagasse, rice
hulls, or other industrial or municipal garbage, EnerWaste offers
the Industrial Incinerator. Industrial Incinerators are simple,
low cost systems designed for the most basic oxidation requirements.
They typically have no energy recovery, no scrubbing, and require
manual ash removal. They can be designed with capacities from 20 to
1500 tons per day. This is the least expensive option for large systems.
Controlled Air Modular
For smaller applications, EnerWaste offers Controlled Air Modular
incinerators. This two stage oxidation technology utilizes
semi pyrolytic conditions in the primary chamber and excess air
in the secondary chamber to insure complete combustion. These
systems, which can be installed indoors or out, have wide spread
applications for hospital, pathological, industrial, and small
scale municipal operations. EnerWaste has supplied controlled
air modulars in sizes from 100 pounds per hour up to 20 tons per
day. This is the least expensive option for small systems.
Animal Cremator
For cremation of pets and animal carcasses, EnerWaste offers
the Animal Cremator System. These systems are environmentally
safe and produce virtually no atmospheric emissions. The
EnerWaste Animal Cremator System reduces the animal carcass
to inert ash, destroying disease pathogens during the process.
As with all EnerWaste systems, the cremator has low capital,
maintenance, and operating costs. These systems are designed
for on site installation, making them ideal for veterinary
clinics and animal control shelters.
Vitrification
If ash disposal poses a problem, EnerWaste can supply a
Vitrification system to convert the ash into a glass
by-product that can have many potential commercial
applications such as sand blasting grit, aggregate,
floor and roof tiles, shingles, and patio bricks.
