Waste Types
MCSTM systems are very versatile and can be used to gasify many types of waste materials. Depending on the composition of the waste material, EnerWaste MCSTM systems can be designed with capacities of up to 400 tons per day of municipal solid waste or up to 1500 tons per day of industrial or biomass. Some examples of acceptable solid waste types are listed below:

  • Pre-treated Municipal Solid Waste (MSW)
  • Rice Hulls
  • Bagasse
  • Biomass (wood waste, hog waste, agricultural waste)
  • Pre-treated industrial packaging wastes
  • Pre-treated industrial process wastes
  • Pre-treated off-spec products
  • Pre-treated mixed waste plus tires
  • Pre-treated mixed waste plus dried sewage sludge
  • Pre-treated mixed waste plus oils

Rice hulls are a good example of bio-wastes that can be disposed in an EnerWaste system.
